Art is Fun

As a school teacher, I enjoy working with natural forms. Out of necessity, my materials are easy to come by, and portable.

I am stealing time for art in the few minutes available, the "in between" times. I'm often working at the kitchen table during breakfast.

In my art I am capturing some of the children's energy, discovery, excitement and self-expression.

The images here are all oil pastels. Recently I've been working with various paper media including cut paper and colored pencil.

I hope you enjoy my work, and I hope I have shared some of the fun and delight I am experiencing when I create art.

My fascination is in how human faces and figures are revealing their hidden selves.
